    Description

This is for Two Antique Original 1920s Aviator Lillian Gatlin Pathe News 35mm Film Reels. They are both in good condition and stable...I took photos of some of the frames to show you some content, in one she is seen walking towards the camera on a rooftop in New York, and in the other she is by her airplane with another pilot and then by herself moving around the airplane...The metal cannisters measure 5 inches tall in diameter with the larger film being 3 1/4 inches in diameter and the smaller 2 1/4 inches in diameter.
I have been selling much of the aviation archive of Lillian Gatlins estate over the last several months and these reels are part of that archive.
Lillian Gatlin was very close to famed aviator Lincoln Beachey and continued to achieve an aviation after Lincoln‘s passing in 1915...She gained her greatest fame when while flying with the US Airmail in 1922 she became the first woman to fly across the United States.
Overall some very unique Aviation history and quite likely the only footage of Lillian Gatlin in existence.… Buyer pays shipping.
