    Description

    Antique Japanese Sensu Wood Folding Hand Fan. Purchased in Japan 1952 by a family member. Original Box included. Very unique design with arch pattern along the top; and flower, vine pattern across the mid section of fan. **SEE PHOTOS** for best description of design and condition. As you can see, there is no stenciling in older fans. In comparision to newer fans where stenciling is visible surrounding cutouts.  It appears to be strung together with fishing line. No broken tips or damage, but slight warping is visible in closed position. Measures 8" closed and 13.5" across open expanse. Has a pleasant, light scent and features double Pink Tassels.
