    Description

A superb and rare photo of the
1933 BMW 750 Kompressor supercharger worksracer
    .
The photo was taken during the
1933 German Grand Prix (the “Grossen Preis von Deutschland”)
. The photo shows the front of this extraordinary machine, with BMW’s pre war racing and world record breaking star
    Ernst Henne
sitting in the background. It is an extremely rare photo, made from an original, retouched, glass plate negative. The retouching was done professionally, it was normal to do this at the time (1930’s) to clean up the image and to brighten up specific details.
    On
    the 3
    rd
    of November 1932
, a few months before this photo was taken, Ernst Henne broke with a similar machine the world speed record with a speed of
    152,749 mph
    (244.399 km/hr)!
It is a very nice extraordinary photo, extremely rare, that reflects a wonderful era of BMW’s rich history in a wonderful way. This is your rare chance to own this photo, therefore it is printed in a nice large format of ca. 7.8" x 10.5" (ca.19.
    7 x 26
    .6 cm).
Shipping costs will only be $ 7.00 regardless of how many photos you buy.   For 5 or more photos, shipping is free!
