It is a great image of both Dick Mann and Joel Nicholas with their heavily modified BSA Goldie ‘s. It is a classic shot, showing one of the greatest bikes in motorcycle history. Both riders were famous on both sides of the
Atlantic
. European riders knew if they would participate in the world championship GP racing, they would both be amongst the hardest riders to defeat.
