On this great image, taken during the Daytona 200 races of March 1970, we see the amazing Mike “The Bike” Hailwood on the amazing factory 750cc BSA Rocket 3 F750 works racer. Standing next to him is his his mechanic.
A wonderful and historic image of one of the greatest riders of all times on one of the greatest and rarest Formula 750 bikes of all times!
The race was won by Dick Mann, Mike retired in lap 7 due to an overheating engine, the middle piston blew a hole in it.
