Description
Shown on this photograph is the ever so greatEvel Knievel
.
Shown is
Evel Knievel
during an interview with ABC's Frank Gifford before his jump in 1975 over 14 Greyhound buses at King's
Island
.
The photo was made in October of 1975, after Evel made the switch from Triumph to Harley. Evel is seen in full flight. In the background we see banners of Harley-Davidson and
Olympia
. Both were Evel’s sponsors at the time,
Olympia
being an American beer brand.
Evel Knievel is without doubt the greatest stuntmaster EVER. What he did is totally not comparable with the jumps today’s stuntmasters make on bikes that weigh halve the weight, accelerate much faster and have 6 times more suspension travel then Evel’s H-D XR 750!
See also our other photo’s of, amongst others, Evel Knievel and his bikes. Limited opportunity!
This is also your rare chance to own this non period photo that reflects the glorious career of one of the greatest stunt riders and dare devils ever: Evel Knievel. Therefore it is printed in a nice large format of ca. 8 x 11.8" (20 x 30 cm).
