    Description

    WE
    ARE
    CLEARING OUT OUR ARCHIVES!
A superb and rare photo. Shown is
    Evel Knievel
    ’s incredible
    Triumph
jet jump bike, or as he called it,
    Sky Cycle
, from 1968. It is equipped with two jet engines that are visible on the photo! The deltawing structures on each side of the machine were created to give it more lift… Evel wanted to jump over the
    Grand Canyon
    with this machine.
Behind the saddle, in the large bag, we see his parachute. Evel jumped on several occasions with this mighty machine. The bike basically is a
    650cc Triumph Bonneville TT Special
, which was his jump bike at the time, equipped with two jet engines!
Triumph was the main brand Evel used to jump with, prior to his switch to Harley-Davidson in the early 1970’s. He jumped with the HD XR 750 jump bike then.
On the photo, Evel (seen at the left) is showing off his famous twin jet engine during the famous Joey Bishop TV show (Bishop seen at the right).
See also our other photo’s of, amongst others, Evel Knievel and his bikes. Limited opportunity!
This is also your rare chance to own this photo that reflects the glorious career of one of the greatest stunt riders and dare devils ever: Evel Knievel. Therefore it is printed in a nice large format of ca. 8" x 10" (
    20 x 25
    .4 cm).
Shipping costs will only be $ 7.00 regardless of how many photos you buy.   For 5 or more photos, shipping is free!
