Here is an unusual echinoderm association from the Ordovician of Morocco. This distinct plate contains a beautiful true starfish and two nice edrioasteroids. The distinct starfish exhibits gorgeous detail. The plate structure is wonderfully displayed, and all five of the long arms are intact - it is highly unusual to have all of the arms so nicely preserved. There are also two very detailed edrioasteroids on the plate. The fossils have excellent, orange coloration that contrasts strikingly with the light brown matrix. The fossils are well showcased on the natural-edged block of sandstone. This is a very cool starfish/edrio fossil from North Africa.
