Harley ‘s
Quartermaster
School
was also called the
Service School
. It was established to train the military mechanics in the Army how to maintain and service the military models from H-D. The
Quartermaster
School
opened in 1916. Shown is the 2ND ever class in 1916!
It is a gorgeous image that gives a wonderful period view of the famous old Harley factory! Note the V-twin engine in front of the workbench, the cylinder heads on top of it and the special engine stand with mounted twin engine on the right of the photo.
