The Bicilindrica twin cylinder racing bike was one of Guzzi’s most famous and longest running 500cc racing models. It was originally designed by Carlo Guzzi in 1933, and that motorcycle is shown on the photo. Later during the development life of the Bicilindrica Carlo received help in the chassis department of his brother Giuseppe Guzzi when it received a fully sprung frame in 1935.
The 1933 Bicilindrica immediately was very succesful for the Guzzi factory. It is a beautiful machine that shows the design lines of his creator, Carlo Guzzi, very vividly and clearly. Only for this reason this photo is a "must have" for every Guzzi enthusiast!
Ing. Fabio Taglioni has often stated that he was influenced by Guzzi’s Bicilindrica when he made his first Ducati V-twin.
It will make a nice showpiece when framed, hence why the non period photo is printed in a nice large format of 8" x 12" (20 x 30cm).
