    …inconsequential story, done right by Alan Crosland…Richard Dix popularity continues to grow, Bebe Daniels alluring…Montagu Love good choice; “Open All Night” prom Paul Morand stories…developed by Willis Goldbeck for new director Paul Bern…expertly selected cast…Adolphe Menjou suave…Ray Griffith distinguishes himself…arresting Jetta  Goudal effective…also with Viola Dana, Maurice Flynn, Gale Henry; “Merton of the Movies” directed by James Cruze…Viola Dana does very well…Ethel Wales stands out in small part…also with Glenn Hunter; “The Clean Heart” with J. Stuart Blackton’s beautiful bit of direction and deft character drawing…Percy Marmont gives one of those rarely restrained performances
