A superb and rare photo of the famous
Triumph Trident T150 F750 during the Daytona 200 with works rider, Gary Nixon!
On this great image, taken during the Daytona 200 races of March 1970, we see the great Gary Nixon on the amazing factory 750cc Triumph F750 Trident T150 works racer. This superbly tuned bike’s fairing and seat were aerodynamically designed by British Aerospace, it was a very, very fast motorcycle that recorded the highest speed at Daytona that year!
A wonderful and historic image of one of the greatest riders of all times on one of the greatest and rarest Formula 750 bikes of all times!
During the race, Gary Nixon took the lead for a number of laps, but was forced to retire due to mechanical problems. The race was won by Dick Mann.
This is a very nice and very rare photo that reflects a wonderful and very historic era of Triumph motorcycle history in a wonderful way.
